Meet the Team
Dusty Foster
A Commercial Single Engine Land/Sea and Multi-engine pilot and has been an A&P mechanic since May of 2017. He is an Authorized Inspector and currently flies a Cessna 340A professionally along with his duties of running the business. He has an AA in Aviation Maintenance, and a BS in Aviation, Intercultural Studies, and Business. While running a successful business, Dusty completed his CFI training in 2025, furthering his aviation career.
Clay Remington
(Director of Maintenance) A graduate of the New River Community College, attained an AA in Business through the local ACE Scholarships program. Thanks to a spontaneous and fortunate trip to the local airport, Clay has been a part of the Foster Aviation team from the beginning. From plane washer, to apprentice, to Director of Maintenance in a few short years, aviation isn’t just a job, but an essential part of life. When he’s not busy meeting the needs of our team, Clay and his wife are partnered owners of Green Seekers, a local golf simulator business.
Katie Taylor
(Office Administrator) With an AAS in Applied Mathematics , Katie has 7+ years of accounting and customer service experience. She is passionate about helping the business grow and connect with their clients. When not working Katie is meeting the needs of her kids and spending family time lakeside or more preferably at the beach.
Alexander Alto
(Mechanic) Alex brings a unique blend of military precision and technical mastery to the field of aviation maintenance. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Alexander spent five years honing his skills in high-stakes environments, specifically specializing in avionics, pitot-static systems, and sheetmetal fabrication. Outside of the hangar, he is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new destinations with his fiancé and their dog.
Devon Anderson
(Mechanic Apprentice) Devon brings a foundation of discipline, precision, and problem-solving to our team, honed during a distinguished period of service in the United States Navy. Currently, Devon is excelling as a Mechanic Apprentice, where he is rapidly applying his technical aptitude to master complex systems and diagnostics. When not working, Devon's priority is his family.
Dillon Lipscomb
(A&P) Dillon comes from Lynchburg with 4 years of experience in aviation. In this time, he achieved his A&P certification and continues to grow in education. Dillon is a self-studier with a passion for American history, philosophy, and playing the fiddle.
Luke Saufley
(Shop Assistant) Luke is a Pulaski County native from Draper. He is currently in trade school working towards his Journeyman License. In Luke’s spare time he plays piano, hunts, and plays basketball. His future goals are to further his knowledge in aviation and finish his degree.
